Analytics
What each form's overview and analytics tab measure, and how to read them.
Overview
Each form opens on an overview: responses in the selected period against the previous one, average per day, unread and spam counts, a response chart, a heatmap of when people respond by weekday and hour, and an at-a-glance list of top location, device split, top source and the share of genuine responses.
Analytics tab
| Metric | How it is calculated |
|---|---|
| Submissions | Genuine responses in the period. Spam is shown separately. |
| Unique contacts | Distinct email addresses among those responses. |
| Spam rate | Spam divided by all requests that reached the form. |
| Fields answered | Average number of non-empty answers per response. |
| Time to complete | Median seconds between the hosted page loading and submitting. Hosted forms only. |
| Field completion | For each field, the share of responses that answered it. Low numbers point at questions people skip. |
| Sources | Referrer domains and utm_source values. |
| Locations, devices, browsers | Derived on the server from the request. Location is approximate (city level). |
Periods run from 7 days to all time, and every comparison is against the equivalent previous period. The dashboard shows the same numbers rolled up across all forms.
