Template variables

Variables use double braces. Insert them from the toolbar or type them. Unknown variables render as empty text.

{{<field_key>}}any field

The answer to that field, for example {{name}}, {{email}} or {{how_did_you_hear_about_us}}. Multi-value answers are joined with commas.

{{form_name}}string

The form's name.

{{submitted_at}}string

Date and time the response was received, formatted for the workspace's locale.

{{id}}string

The response ID. Useful in a subject for support tooling.

The answers table

Insert the Answers table block from the toolbar. It renders every submitted field as a two-column table, in field order, and you can place it anywhere in the body and keep writing after it. Under the hood it is a Mustache section:

Conditionals

Wrap text in a section to show it only when a field has a value: {{#phone}}We will call you on {{phone}}.{{/phone}}. Use {{^phone}}…{{/phone}} for the opposite.
