Getting started
Quickstart
Create a form, get notified, and receive your first response in about five minutes.
This walkthrough creates a hosted contact form, then shows how to use the same form from your own HTML instead. You need a free account; no card is required.
- 1Create a form
Press New form in the dashboard and pick the Contact form template, or start blank. You land in the builder with name, email and message fields already in place.
- 2Add a notification email
Open Settings in the builder and enter the address that should hear about new responses. You can list several, separated by commas.
- 3Publish
Switch the status from Draft to Live and press Save. The form is now available at
https://forms.pixelverse.tech/f/your-slug. - 4Send a test response
Open the link, fill it in and submit. Within a few seconds the response shows up in the inbox and the notification lands in your mail client with Reply-To set to the address you entered.
Use your own markup instead
Every form, builder or API, has a submit endpoint. Copy it from the form's Share tab and use it as the action of any HTML form.
<form action="https://forms.pixelverse.tech/api/forms/FORM_ID/submit" method="POST">
<input name="name" placeholder="Your name" />
<input name="email" type="email" placeholder="Email" required />
<textarea name="message" placeholder="How can we help?"></textarea>
<input type="text" name="sweetidentity" tabindex="-1" autocomplete="off"
style="position:absolute;left:-9999px;opacity:0" aria-hidden="true" />
<button>Send</button>
</form>sweetidentity field in your markup. Humans never see it; bots fill it in, and those submissions are stored as spam without emailing you.For a builder form the keys must match the field keys shown in the builder's Advanced tab. For an API form any keys are accepted.
